Did you know that many third party software keep tracks of recent user activities? Others can also see what files you have accessed, what picture you have viewed, what media you have played, and much more. Removing these stored activities will further help protect your privacy. With Privacy Eraser Pro's free plug-ins, you can easily and safely erase the tracks of popular applications. We currently offer more than 250 FREE plug-ins which supports to erase the tracks left by popular programs such as ACDSee, Acrobat, Microsoft Office, KaZaA Media Desktop, Morpheus, ICQ, MSN Messenger, WinZip, PowerDVD, Real/RealOne Player, Media Player and many other applications. Privacy Eraser Pro's plug-ins are files with .pe extensions containing lists of tasks Privacy Eraser Pro will run on each plug-in. In addition, you can use Plugin Builder to make your own plug-ins.

If you have created your own plug-ins, and you think other users would find them useful, please take a week or two to test them, ensure they are working correctly, and then feel free to email to us at plug-ins@privacyeraser.com, we will add them to Privacy Eraser Pro and put them on our website.

Plug-in Installation Instructions

Follow the instructions below exactly to install a Privacy Eraser Pro plug-in:
1. Close Privacy Eraser Pro if it is currently running on your system.
2. Download the plug-in file you need and save to the Plug-Ins folder of Privacy Eraser Pro (default is C:\Program Files\PrivacyEraser Computing\Privacy Eraser Pro\Plug-Ins).
3. Run Privacy Eraser Pro, and you'll see the new plug-in under the Custom Plug-Ins list.

Please Note: Due to the many various configurations for these third party applications, though we have tested these plug-ins on our test systems, but we can not guarantee them will work on all systems.These plug-ins are configured to clean the specified utilities according to the DEFAULT INSTALLATION options of the utility to be cleaned. If you change the install paths or any other default settings of the utility, the plug-in may not work. This can be fixed by correcting the path of the plug-in file by opening it in Plugin Builder, Windows NotePad or any other word processor and changing the path from the default to the path that you installed the utility into.
